Think of a time you felt happy or a time you felt good, or laughed heartily. Bring that memory to mind and remember the details of rhe situation.

As Maslow’s hierarchy of needs showed the importance of love and belonging. This also goes to show that lonliness can be bad for happiness.

Social support affects happiness level too. Engaged in regular healthy activites with people do make us a happier person. Also, knowing that in times of need, you have people to rely on.

Do make an effort to connect with people. Be it meeting for a coffee or a chat over the phone. Research has shown that these connections do make us a happier person.
